1. Who we are

Charith Partner ("we," "us," "our") operates a referral program that lets individual partners submit local business leads and earn a commission when those leads convert into paying clients of Charith, a web/digital services studio. This policy explains what information we collect through the Charith Partner app and website, and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
Profile details: phone number, preferred language, and UPI ID, which you provide to receive commission payouts.
ID proof: a photo or scan of a government ID (such as Aadhaar or PAN), used solely to verify your identity before processing a payout.
Lead information: details you submit about a local business (name, contact person, phone number, area, and notes) so our team can follow up with that business.
Usage data: quiz attempts and scores, lead status history, and basic activity timestamps needed to run the program.

3. How we use your information

To create and manage your partner account, and show content in your chosen language.
To verify your identity and pay your commission via UPI or bank transfer once a lead you referred results in a paid client.
To follow up on the businesses you refer, and to keep you informed of a lead's status.
To communicate with you — for example, a one-time login code, or an update about your account.
To prevent abuse, such as duplicate or fraudulent lead submissions.

4. How we store and protect it

Your data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL database, authentication, and file storage) on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. ID proof documents are kept in a private storage bucket that only you and authorized Charith admins can access. Passwords are never stored in plain text. We use Resend to deliver account emails and Vercel to host the application; both process data only as needed to provide their service to us.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and lead data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to honor pending or historical commission payouts. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named in Section 4 (to operate the app) and, where a lead you submitted is being followed up on, with the Charith team members responsible for that outreach.

7. Your rights

You can review and update most of your information anytime from your Profile page. To request a copy of your data or a correction, email us at admin@charith.it.com. To delete your account entirely, see our account deletion instructions.

8. Children's privacy

Charith Partner is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
